Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These Terms of Service (purchase and venue rules) govern ticket purchases on rubixsiauliai.lt, table reservations and entry to events organised by MB XS VENTURES at RUBIX, Vasario 16-osios g. 48, Šiauliai. They form a contract between you and us, so please read them before ordering — especially section 7 on refunds.

These terms apply to consumers and, where not agreed otherwise, to business buyers. Mandatory consumer protection rules always prevail over anything in these terms that would restrict your statutory rights.
2. Definitions
- Event — a concert, party, performance or other event organised by us at RUBIX.
- Ticket — the right for one person to enter the Event, issued as a PDF with a unique QR code.
- Buyer / you — the person who orders and pays for a Ticket or makes a reservation.
- Order — your confirmed request to buy one or more Tickets, identified by an order number.
3. Buying Tickets
- Orders are placed through the ticket shop on rubixsiauliai.lt, as a guest or logged into a guest account.
- You must provide accurate first name, last name, email address and phone number. Tickets and the admission list are matched to the data you submit; a wrong email address may mean you never receive your Ticket.
- The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation with the Tickets attached as a PDF.
- Ticket quantities per person are limited as shown in the shop and enforced at checkout.
- We may cancel an Order if the data is clearly false, if the payment is not completed, if the quantity limits are circumvented, or if we suspect fraud or automated bulk buying. In that case any amount paid is refunded in full.
- If a price or product description was displayed incorrectly (for example a technical error in the price), we may decline the Order and refund you in full. Payment is always required at the displayed price before the Order is confirmed.
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include the applicable VAT. Event tickets are subject to the reduced 12% VAT rate applicable to cultural and entertainment events.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (currently Paysera LT, UAB, and — where offered — Stripe Payments Europe). We never see or store your full card number or CVC.
- A Ticket is only valid once the payment has been successfully authorised. If a payment fails or is reversed, the Ticket becomes invalid and entry may be refused.
- The Buyer is responsible for any bank or payment provider fees charged by the Buyer's own bank.
- Invoices for purchased Tickets are issued electronically. We keep accounting documents for 10 years as required by Lithuanian law.
5. Ticket Delivery and Validity
- Tickets are delivered as a PDF attachment to the email address given in the Order, and they are also available in your guest account if you created or claimed one.
- Each Ticket carries a unique QR code that is valid for one entry only. A screenshot or a printed copy works, provided the QR code is clearly readable.
- The QR code is the ticket: whoever presents it first is admitted. If you share the QR code and someone else uses it earlier, your Ticket will be marked as used and no replacement or refund is due.
- Duplicated, altered or unreadable tickets may be rejected at the door.
- If you have not received your Tickets, contact us before the Event starts and we will reissue them. After the Event has started, tickets that were never delivered will be refunded.
6. Right of Withdrawal (14-day Cooling-off Period) Does Not Apply
Tickets are for leisure services provided on a specific date. Under Article 6.228-10(2)(12) of the Lithuanian Civil Code — which implements Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EC — the 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
This means that, once purchased, a Ticket cannot be cancelled simply because you changed your mind, cannot attend, or no longer need it. Section 7 sets out the cases in which we do refund.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
7.1. No refund is due where:
- You changed your mind or can no longer attend.
- You did not come to the Event, arrived late, or left early.
- You were refused entry for breaching section 8 (for example an age restriction, intoxication, aggressive behaviour or prohibited items).
- You lost, deleted or did not read the ticket email.
- The line-up, programme, support acts, DJs, running order or start time changed, or the Event was moved to a different time within the same venue on the same date.
7.2. No refunds after the Event has taken place. Once the Event has happened, we have fully performed our obligation, and refunds are not granted — except where mandatory law or a decision of a competent authority requires otherwise. Please raise any problem before, during, or immediately after the Event so we can solve it.
7.3. Refunds are paid when:
- We cancel the Event and it is not rescheduled — the ticket price is refunded in full.
- The Event is postponed or moved to a different date, and you cannot attend the new date — you may choose a refund instead, which we pay within 14 days of the replacement date; you must tell us you do not accept the alternative.
- The Event is moved to a different venue (outside Šiauliai) — you may request a refund even if the date is unchanged.
- You were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or paid for Tickets that were never delivered.
- A technical failure on our side made it impossible to use a valid Ticket for entry and we could not resolve the situation on the night.
7.4. How to request a refund: email [email protected] with the order number, the ticket QR code or a screenshot, and a short explanation. We reply within 14 days. Approved refunds are paid to the same payment method used for the purchase within 14 days of approval. Bank transfer fees are not charged by us; your own bank's fees are not refundable.
7.5. Practical details: refunds are always paid to the person who made the payment, not to whoever holds the ticket. Where an Event is cancelled, we may offer you a choice between a refund and a credit or replacement ticket for a later Event — you are never obliged to accept anything other than a money refund.
7.6. Admission issues caused by force majeure (severe weather, power failure, authority order, artist illness) are handled case by case: if the Event cannot take place, section 7.3 applies and the ticket price is refunded or, where the Event is replaced by an alternative date, the postponed-event rule applies.
8. Entry Rules and Conduct
- Entry requires a valid ticket with a readable QR code and, where we ask for it, an identity document.
- Age limits shown for an Event are enforced; bring identification for the door. Persons below the stated age limit are not admitted even with a ticket — no refund is due in that case.
- Staff may refuse entry or require you to leave, without refund, if you are visibly intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, aggressive, or behave in a way that endangers or disturbs others.
- Prohibited items, weapons, drugs and outside drinks are not allowed; security checks may be carried out at the entrance.
- Entry may be delayed if the venue is at capacity — please come early. Guests who leave the venue may be re-admitted at staff discretion.
- The Event may be filmed and photographed (see the Privacy Policy, sections 11 and 12). By entering, you accept that images of the crowd may be published for promotional purposes; you can ask us to remove material identifying you.
- Smoking, vaping and the use of pyrotechnics are prohibited inside the venue.
9. Ticket Transfers and Resale
- You may give your Ticket to a friend free of charge — the QR code admits whoever presents it first.
- Commercial resale of Tickets without our written consent is prohibited, as is selling a Ticket for more than its face value or advertising Tickets on unauthorised platforms.
- We may cancel Tickets offered for commercial resale above face value or obtained illegally, without a refund, as far as Lithuanian law allows.
- If you bought a Ticket from a third party, we cannot verify it in advance and are not liable towards you for its validity or for any loss caused by that third party. Details of the original buyer are the only ones we hold.
10. Reservations, Private Events and Mobile Bar
- Table reservations are confirmed by email. Tables are held for 15 minutes past the booked time; if you do not arrive, the table may be released without notice.
- Please cancel as early as possible if your plans change — repeated no-shows may mean we decline future reservations.
- Reservations are free of charge unless a specific booking carries a prepayment or minimum spend, which we tell you in advance in writing.
- Private events, corporate parties and mobile bar services are provided under a separate individual agreement (scope, price, prepayment, cancellation terms). Where the individual agreement conflicts with these terms, the individual agreement prevails.
11. Liability
- We provide the Event and services with the care customary in the industry, and we are liable only for damage caused by our fault, up to the amount of the ticket price paid, unless Lithuanian law provides otherwise.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for damage to life, health, or for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
- We are not liable for: personal belongings left unattended; indirect damage or lost profit; your travel, accommodation or other costs connected to the Event; acts of third parties; or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
- If we have to cancel or move an Event, our liability towards you is limited to your refund rights under section 7.
12. Intellectual Property
The website, the name RUBIX, its content, designs, texts and photographs, and the Tickets themselves are protected by intellectual property law. You may use a Ticket only for personal entry to the Event and you may not reproduce or use our content commercially without written consent.
13. Personal Data
We process personal data for orders, tickets, reservations and related purposes as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before ordering.
14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- Send complaints or claims in writing to [email protected]. We reply within 14 days of receiving a complete request.
- If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with our answer, you may apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsauga tarnyba, VVTAT), Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, email [email protected], phone +370 5 262 6751, website vvtat.lt, which handles consumer disputes out of court.
- Note: the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used; consumer disputes are handled through the national bodies listed above.
- Nothing here prevents a consumer from applying to a court, or from using the courts of their place of residence as provided by EU consumer law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when our services or the law change. The version in force when you place an Order applies to that purchase. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms are governed by Lithuanian law; in case of a conflict between language versions, the Lithuanian text prevails.
